Bradley Manning was / is (for lack of a better word) an army intelligence analyst who was charged with leaking, amongst other things, a highly classified video of American forces killing 12 unarmed civilians (including two Reuters journalists) and two children in Afghanistan earlier this year. Allegedly, Manning gave the video to Wikileaks in February 2010.
